I'm rewatching Smallville with my boyfriend again, and we're actually not disliking it as much this time as we did during our last rewatch in 2021. Back then we were actually a bit surprised at how much stuff made absolutely no sense, or that we outright did not like. Maybe it's a bit more enjoyable to watch this time around since we're prepared for it. I'm still here to mostly complain though! :D Our main issues: The actors are waaay too old to play highschool students. It's insane how we're supposed to believe that a chiseled 25-year-old is actually 15. As the show progresses it seems like all age related logic goes out the window. How is a 16 year old managing to go to school AND run a café.  Clark's lame excuses for how all his mysterious disappearances and saves. How insanely poorly kept Clark's secret is.
